“Sawadee-kha”

My name is Ting.  I am a native of Thailand.  I was born in northeast Thailand where my family raised silk worms and made hand crafted silk fabric.
Our village had many skilled women who were talented  in weaving beautiful designs in both cotton and silk fabrics.
I have always wanted to use my understanding gained from years spent in the beauty and fashion industry to help the people of my village by  introducing the world to the beautiful hand crafted fabrics created by the amazingly talented craftsman who live there.
I moved to California in 2008.  I fell in love with the culture and style right away.  I got many compliments on my Thai outfits.  The amount of interest in my designs gave me the idea that  handcrafted fabrics from my village might be welcomed here.
In  2011 I opened my store in Fort Bragg CA, Tings Thai Culture where I showcase my designs fashioned from the handcrafted cotton and silk fabrics made in my village.
